I am truly sorry to read of you Mother's passing. We had such a great time working together for the PTA and on Mother's Club. She was at my loving daughter Gail funeral and I had a chance to chat with her a minute. I lost Gail and Lee's father in Dec. of 2009 and then lost Gail in Jan. of 2012. I live alone here in Florida. I pray that you will find peace in knowing that she is not suffering any more. Fondly, Peg McConnell

Ma Allen was a beautiful, caring, compassionate woman. She had a big heart and loved her family, "big family". She will be so missed. I enjoyed my time with her, laughing and talking witth her. We spent quite amount of time together with my Aunt Lil Applegate. We would watch Two and A Half Men, the old show and we would laugh so hard, the tears would come down our faces. I enjoyed making lunches for Ma and aunt Lil, they had a great time. God rest her precious soul (both). We will hold all of safe in our hearts and prayers. Have hope in tomorrow, faith in the everlasting and take comfortin the love of family and friends. All of you take care now. Love to you all.

Dear Diane and family - I am so sorry to her of the passing of your mother. I worked with her for many years at Hatchery Hill School and found her to be a lovely, kind and patient person with the kids and all the adults. She always had a smile on her face and seemed to enjoy her work. May she rest in peace. My thoughts are with you. Karen

Not only did I have the pleasure of working with Mrs. Allen at Hatchery Hill School for many years, I was also a student at the school in the early 70's - which makes me doubly blessed. I am saddened to hear of her passing and my thoughts are with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she loved so dearly.

I met Ms. Lorraine through her cousin Joyce. It was my pleasure to have known this awesome lady. Ms. Lorraine was always a pleasure to be around and was truly dedicated to her "Family". Heaven has another angel and Ms. Lorraine will be truly missed. The light she brought to the room will be reflected in a new star that shines at night, look for her there. My sympathy to all the family as I have a little of what you are feeling in my own heart. I loved her also.
