Mike served the community of Allamuchy well. He came forward to serve on the Board of Education and then stepped up to lead it during the challenges of growth. He was an expert on many subjects and had a great sense of humor. My prayers are with his family in this time of mourning.

My sincere condolences to the Acocella famley. Mike and I were pool buddies and also started a Hearts card club here in the Valley. He took me to the Bronx New York to the great Italian delicatessens and bakeries. Besides being extremely intelligent, He was a good Cook and had a wonderful sense of humor. I will miss him greatly.
