Margaret M. "Peg" Lake, 77 of Hackettstown, NJ passed away at her home on Friday, December 1, 2017. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Peg was the daughter of the late Clarence W. & Pearl L. Savercool McConnell. Mrs. Lake was a lifelong resident of Hackettstown and a graduate of Hackettstown High School, Class of 1959. She was a loving homemaker having raised two children. One daughter, Christine Kolbusch of Hackettstown and Edward H. Lake, Jr. also of Hackettstown. Her beloved husband, Edward H. Lake, Sr. resides in Hackettstown. In addition, she is survived by two sisters; Irene Lance of Tucson, AR. & Helen Miller of Hackettstown. She adored her two granddaughters, Katelyn & Meghan Kolbusch. Friends and family are invited to a 10:00am graveside service on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the House of the Good Shepherd, 798 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. My heart is broken over hearing the passing of my Aunt Peggy. She has always been there for our family. My best memories of her is she made my blue Graduation dress for 8th grade. She will be missed by so many people. My heart goes out goes out to her husband and her kids Chris and Eddie. Sending prayers.
