Additional Information:  Mrs. Deemer was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Hackettstown. She was also an Eastern Star. She was a lifelong resident of Hackettstown/Independence Township, graduating from Hackettstown High School in 1959. She married her childhood sweetheart in 1959. She and her husband, Gilbert (Sonny)Deemer would have celebrated their 47th anniversary on November 1st. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Throughout her life she worked many jobs in the Hackettstown area; it was hard to find someone in town who didn't know her. She had a passion for Atlantic City trips and yearly visits to Las Vegas. She enjoyed tricky trays with her daughter, going out to eat, crocheting, playing on the computer and spending time with family. She loved to write poetry, having one of her poems published nationally. In her younger years she was an avid bowler, having won many trophies. She was most proud of her last place donkey. She will live in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
