Torres
Died: Dec 23, 2017
Wanda Torres was born on August 29, 1964 in Bronx, New York. She passed away at the early age of 53 on Saturday, December 23, 2017 in the comfort of her home with her daughter and granddaughter by her side.
Wanda was the daughter of Amelia Figueroa Navarro and the late Angel Luis Navarro. When Wanda was 15 years old she met her soulmate, Felix Torres, whom she spent her married life with for 26 years. God blessed them with two beautiful children, Tabitha and Sabrina. As a precious gift and a beacon of light to the family, her grandchild, Raquel Torres was born on April 9, 2014.

Wanda was a beloved sister to her eldest brother Angel, and her two sisters, Mildred and Samantha, who will not be forgotten for their compassion and love. She also leaves behind a mother who loved her dearly.

Wanda was a devoted friend to many who took time to listen and truly love and cherish the relationships and bonds she made over the years.

Shortly after Wanda relocated to New Jersey from New York she obtained her CDL license. She later became a private bus driver with Cassidy Transportation where she worked for many years. This provided her the flexibility to raise her daughter Sabrina, who needed that extra love and attention that only a mother could provide.

Life dealt Wanda many challenges throughout her life. In her later years she found peace in her rekindled relationship with God, which provided her peace and comfort in her final days.

Wanda cherished her time with her family and friends, but as many know, her granddaughter Racquel was the light of her life. She provided the love and inspiration Wanda needed to endure in her final battle. Although she may not physically be here to help guide Raquel through her journey in life, she will always be looking from above, loving and protecting her. She will always remain in her granddaughter’s heart throughout her life.

Wanda will be greatly missed by All!
