David LaDoyt Pinkerton, 83 , died  11/21/11 in  Heath Village, Washington Township, NJ.  David lived in  Heath Village for one and one half years prior to which he lived in Naples, Fl and in Panther Valley (Allamuchy Township), NJ and was born in Elizabeth, NJ on 08/28/1928.

Occupation: Dave lived, worked and raised his family in Succasunna, NJ where he founded Valley Pharmacy in 1955 with his late partner Ed Stierli, and later owned and operated the pharmacy with his partner Bill Wilkins, until Dave's retirement in 1993.

Veteran Info: Dave served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict (1950-1952). He was assigned to Germany where he was effective in designing a medical clinic in Germany.

Additional Information:  Dave was a member of the Panther Valley Ecumenical Church; member of and past president of both the Rotary Clubs of Roxbury and Randolph; member of and past president of the Roxbury Board of Education; past president on Board of Directors of the Day Care Center of Roxbury; Board member of the Naples Golden Gate Rotary; member and past president of the Lakewood Country Club; he was on the Board of Directors of Camp Merry Heart; he received his B.S. from Rutgers University in 1950 and member of Kappa Si Pharmaceutical Fraternity at Rutgers University.

Visitation: Saturday, December 3, 2011, 12:00 - 1:00 PM at the Panther Valley Ecumenical Church, Rt. 517, Allamuchy, NJ

Services: Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM following the visitation - at the Panther Valley Ecumenical Church
