Veteran Info: He served faithfully and honorably as a Boatswain's Mate in the United States Navy for 20 years, August 1949 to October 1970. During that time he completed a variety of successful tours of duty which included the USS RICHARD E. KRAUS (DD-849), USS LAKE CHAMPLAIN (CVS), USS INTREPID (cvs-11), USS FORRESTAL (CVA-59), and the USS AMERICA (CVA-66) plus several shore establishments. His devotion to duty, professionalism and leadership abilities had contributed greatly in maintaining the high traditions of the Navy.
Additional Information: After his retirement he was a volunteer at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ and he worked part time at Heath Village and Sunrise House, Hackettstown, NJ
