Additional Information:  He attended Hazelton Public schools and graduated in 1949 from MMI Preparatory school in Freeland, PA. Attended Duke University until 1951 and graduated from Muhlenberg College in 1953. He served on the Hackettstown Town Council and was candidate for the NJ State Assembly in 1961. Appointed Deputy Warren County Clerk by the late Harry Snyder. Served as Court Clerk for the late Superior Court Judge Paul Aaroe until 1987. He was a member of the Hackettstown First Aid and Rescue Squad; Past President and member of the Hackettstown Kiwanis Club; served as President of the Hackettstown Republican Club; Chairman of the Warren County Trustee Selection Committee; served as President of the Warren and Hunterdon County School Business officials; served on the Hackettstown Planning Board; member of Independence Lodge # 42 F & AM. He also worked as Special Agent for the Home Insurance Company until he purchased the Gibbs Insurance Agency, Hackettstown, NJ
