Marion Virginia Lay, age 95, of Paragon Village, Mount Olive Township, NJ formally of Brick, NJ and Fair Lawn, NJ died Monday, April 23, 2012. Marion was born September 30, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY. She is the daughter of the late Clarence and Marion (Sandman) Woodbury. She married (late) Harold A. Lay on November 7, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY.

She was a Homemaker.

She is survived by 2 Sons-Steven and his wife Vivian Lay, Hackettstown, NJ; Rev. Harold W. and his wife Marilyn Lay, Levittown, L.I., NY; 1 Daughter-Virginia and her husband Jon Lamb, Gulf Breeze, Fl; 1 Sister-Edith Woodbury, Fair Lawn, NJ; 4 grandchildren- Grandson & Wife, Jonathan & Cynthia Lay; Grandaughter & Companion, Kimberly Chansen & Heather; Grandaughter & Husband, Jennifer & Jeremy Swanson; Grandaughter & Husband, Victoria & Michael Carrera; 6 Great Grandchildren; 1 nephew, Alfred Anderson; 1 Niece, Judith Glover; Late Sister & her late Husband, Geraldine & Alfred Anderson.

The funeral will be held 9:30 am on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Burial will be in Brigadier Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ where the family will meet on Monday, April 30 at 12:30 pm.
