Helen Marie Burns, age 71, of Allamuchy Township, NJ died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Barn Hill Care Center, Newton, NJ. Helen was born March 3, 1941 in Jersey City, NJ. She is the daughter of  Helen Dolores (Lindner) Buckley and the late John Joseph Buckley. 

She was employed by Laborers Local # 472, Newark, NJ as an Administrative Assistant.
Helen was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, Hackettstown, NJ; she was a member of the Friends and Neighbors of Panther Valley; member of the Allamuchy Senior Citizens; she adored her grandchildren and was a very social person enjoying spending time with her friends.

She is survived by ; her mother Helen Dolores (Lindner) Buckley; ; Son & Wife, James & Mary Burns, Newton, NJ; Brother & Wife, Raymond & Patricia Buckley, Lakewood, NJ; Sister & Husband, Joan & Thomas Franco, Allamuchy, NJ; 3 Grandchildren, James Patrick, Campbell Allison And Daniel Jacob; sister in law, Elizabeth Buckley, Fl.; Predeceased by her husband James Patrick Burns and a brother, John Buckley.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, July 13, 2012 at St. Mary's Church Of The Assumption, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Burial will be private.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 4 - 8 PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J..
