Peter F. Puccetti, age 78, of, Hackettstown formerly of Clifton, NJ died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at House of the Good Shepherd, Hackettstown, NJ. Peter was born September 28, 1937 in Newark, NJ. He is the son of the late Vittorio and Theresa (Capo) Puccetti.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1955 to 1959, was previously employed as Salesman with Lowe's, in Hackettstown, NJ.
Peter was a huge Greenbay Packers fan, he loved watching, coaching and in his younger years playing football. His greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife: Marjorie (Senecal) Puccetti , 2 sons; Anthony Puccetti and his wife Denise, Michael Puccetti and his wife Laura, a brother; Salvatore Pisano and his wife Francis, a sister; Marie Catalano, 5 grandchildren, Daniel Bean, Jaclyn, Douglas, Steven and Joseph Puccetti, 2 great grandchildren; Anthony and Brooklyn Bean and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, December 5 at Our Lady of the Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ with Rev Msg. Joseph Goode officiating. Those attending please meet at the church.
Burial will be in Brigadier General William. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey on Tuesday, December 8 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to House of the Good Shepherd, 798 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840 or Compassionate Care Hospice Foundation, 350 Sparta Avenue, Building B, Suite 2, Sparta, NJ 07871 in memory of Peter.
