I want to thank all of you for all your loving thoughts! I want to thank Chip, and ALL of Cochran’s! God bless you all! Never was so embarrassed! Mary Susan? I’ve known of you all my life … both your parents were my god parents. My mom & dad shared a rare love. They broke the mold for us all. Dad with dementia never forgot us… never forgot mom! They couldn’t stand being apart. When dad died… mom kept saying she couldn’t live without him. And so she couldn’t. They are both together now as they always were… as they always wanted to be. Again… thank all of you!

Dearest Michele, Mark, and Frank, I just heard the sad news about your wonderful Mom, and also just found out about your dear Dad's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I was the flower girl at your parents' wedding, and I still clearly remember that beautiful day and how happy and in love they were. Our families were so very close in Pennsylvania. Your Uncle Bud was my godfather. I am thinking about and praying for all of you. Love, Susie

So very sorry to hear of your mom's passing Michele, Frank and Mark. Your mom's love of journalism was contagious - it truly changed the direction of my life and career when I became a proud member of the Tiger Times staff. Your mom was kind, funny and always so gracious - may you find comfort in your many memories of her, your dad and Paul, and in the knowledge that she touched many, many young lives for the better. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend her viewing to give each of you a hug, but please know that you're all in my thoughts and prayers - take care.

Mrs Him was one of my favorite teachers at Hackettstown High School. She left a lasting impression on me. I will never forget on the 1st week in her English class she made a point of pulling me aside and told me that she can see that I have a a nicer personality than my brother and all she expected from me was to work to my full potential. She sensed that I was a little uncomfortable since my brother before me was on all her advanced classes. I however, was just in her normal English class. Thank you Mrs UHL for making a great impact on my life. You will be missed. To all the Uhl family I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathies to the Uhl family on the passing of a wonderful woman. I had the privilege of knowing her as a student at HHS. Her caring way encouraged me to try to become a more focused writer while attending to her instruction in journalism class. She could be stern at times, but always with "tough love ". I will never forget her encouragement to all of us in that class. The fact that she felt the way she did about us...put her in the upper echelon of teachers at HHS. God Bless you and God Bless your family.
