Anna  Williams

 Anna Williams, age 97, of Mt. Olive Township, NJ died Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Heath Village, Hackettstown, NJ.  Mrs. Williams was born January 12, 1920 in Racistorf, Slovakia. She was the daughter of the late Victor and Anna Mary (Lednar) Sclpaty.  In addition to her parents Anna is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank James William in 1992, her brother, Joseph Sclpaty, and her sister Melania Sclpaty Thompson.

She served proudly in the US Navy during World War II.  She was previously employed by the US Dept. Of Agriculture as an Administrative Assistant.  Anna graduated high school in 1939 at Riverhead High School, Riverhead, Long Island, NY. She was a volunteer for the Northeast Branch of the Warren County Library, was a former member of the Mt. Olive Senior Citizens, the Mt. Olive Garden Club, was very active in her knitting organization, enjoyed gardening and crafts.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Williams, Buller, her son James Stewart Williams and his wife Judy, her 3 grandsons, Justin, Kyle, and Ryan Buller.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 27 at Pequest Union Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Great Meadows, NJ with Rev. Joseph McCarthy officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 in memory of Anna.
