Dear Sue and Family... My heart goes out to all of you for the loss of Joe. It's been a long time since I have seen any of you, but I remember as though it was yesterday. Good people, good times, and great memories! Love to all and prayers for Joe's journey upward. P.S. After reading the obit, I found out Joe's birthday is the day after mine, and that his love of turtles and other animals is that same for me.

My memories of Joe date back to the days we worked together for AT&T at 32 Ave. of the Americas. We worked in the International Offices (NYISCC & NYITMC), those were the days when we worked hard and played hard. Joe was one of the members of my car pool that started in the Bronx and wound its way over to the bus terminal at the George Washington Bridge then downtown to 32 AOTA. We had a great time on these daily rides solving world issues and poking fun at political issues. I stayed in touch with Joe over the past decade or so by email, I reconnected with him through cousin Pat who worked with Sue at the dental office. My condolences to Sue and the family, I will always keep Joe in my thoughts and prayers. RIP JOE

Joe was so caring and genuine. The "he'll take the shirt off his back" type of great guy. The Selland family will always remember Joe (and Sue too!) traveling to Hackensack Medical Center to donate rare B+ blood and platelets during Britt's successful battle with cancer in 1987.
