Elizabeth N Myers, age 98, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018.
Absent from the body, present with the Lord.
She was the beloved wife of the late Walter L. Myers and the daughter of the late Benjamin and Hilda (Nehring) Boonstra.
She was born in Paterson, NJ, but lived in Wayne, NJ most of her life. She currently resided at the House of the Good Shepherd, Hackettstown, NJ.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by brothers, Rudolph Boonstra and Arnold Boonstra and a sister Violet Feltz.
She graduated from Central High School, Paterson, NJ. She also graduated from the Hawthorne Gospel Church Evening Bible School. She worked for Weny Bros. & Storms Co., New York Life Ins. Co and Citizens Trust Co., Paterson, NJ
She was a member of the Madison Avenue Baptist Church, Paterson, NJ and served as a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Ladies Missionary Fellowship. She also attended the Hawthorne Gospel Church, Hawthorne, NJ.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, June 22 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Rev. Harry Stoliker officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa on Friday, June 22 at 2:00 pm.
