Agnes DiMaio, age 88, of Hackettstown died Friday, June 29, 2018 at Merry Heart Nursing Home, Succasunna, NJ. Agnes was born November 2, 1929 in Phillipsburg, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Amena (Mackoujy) Homay.
Agnes was pre deceased in death by her Husband Samuel DiMaio, Sr, 1 son Anthony, 4 brothers, John, George, Edward, Charles, and by 3 sisters, Anna, Leona, and Minerva.
She is survived by 2 sons, Samuel DiMaio Jr., Michael DiMaio, and his wife Migdalia.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am on Friday, July 6, 2018 at St. Mary's Church, 302 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840 with Father Antony Arockiadoss officiating. Burial will be in Saint Philip & Saint James Cemetery, on Friday, July 6, 2018.
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.cochranfuneral.com.

Our condolences to Sam , Mike and family. We all , liked and enjoyed your Mom. She is with Sammy now. Ray would talk to her on the phone all the time and would visit her in her driveway when she sat out on the porch and he was on a tour of the neighborhood in his wheel chair. She would tell us all the time how much she missed him after he passed. Again our condolences she will be missed.

I had the privilege to see Agnes in almost a weekly basis and giving her the greatest gift of all. THE HOLY COMMUNION. I know Agnes is in the promised paradise next to her beloved husband. God Bless you.

Mike and Sam, sorry for your loss. I loved your mother deeply and will miss having our talks while she sat on her stoop. I was so blessed to have known her these last 10 years. Thoughts and Prayers to you both and your families.
