Theresa A. (nee-Zalasky) Johnson, age 71, of Hackettstown formerly of Union, NJ died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. Theresa was born October 10, 1942 in Dover, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Minnie (Olenik) Zalasky.
Theresa was employed by Hackettstown Imaging Services as an Administrative Assistant and was a member of St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Hackettstown, NJ.
She is survived by 1 son, Kent Johnson; 1 sister, Angela Stevens, 3 brothers, Thomas, Richard and Vince Zalasky.
A memorial service will be held 7:30 pm on Monday, June 16 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father David Pekola officiating. Cremation is private.
Calling hours will be Monday, June 16 from 5:00 - 7:30 PM at the funeral home prior to services.

My thoughts and prayers are with Kent and the family at this time of grief. Terry and I have been neighbors for 10 years, she was a loving, caring and compassionate woman. She will be surely missed. May she rest in peace.
