 Walter T. Savenko, age 97, of Hope, NJ died Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center of Hackettstown, NJ.  Walter was born October 21, 1918 in Cleveland, OH. He is the son of the late Timothy Beliakoff and Marina (Larko) Savenko. 

Walter served proudly in the US Army during World War II from 1944 through 1947.  He was previously employed by Giant Foods, Harrisburg, PA. Walter was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, who will be missed greatly by his adoring family. 

He is survived by 2 daughters; Renata Melvin and husband Kevin, Marina Crumley and husband Chris, 4 grandchildren: Jennifer, Chris, Christine and Matthew; 8 Great Grandchildren.

The cremation was private.

A burial of cremains will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Pittsburgh, PA  15017 on Monday November 16th, 2015 at 11 am.
