We just heard the news of your mother’s passing. May it comfort you to know, that we understand your loss and share in your sorrow. She was such as inspiration to all of us. She was a true friend to my mother. The Bible study she led was a bright point for many people, especially our mother. Her patience and willingness to lead people to Christ not only deepened our mother’s faith but also served as an inspiration to steadfastly keep the faith at all times and in all places. She was the embodiment of St Francis’ famous advice, “Preach the Bible at all times, when necessary use words”. My fondest memory of her has been, and will always be, the gentle smile of acceptance and patience she had on her face when she and you Grandfather let a group of young teenage boys paint her lake house. There must have been many dinner table discussions about the wisdom in letting such and inexperienced group tackle such a task. It had to have come to a head when our idea of trimming windows was to use a wide brush and scrape the excess off later. The house looked like it had just experience a severe winter storm in July. Yet she remained calm and expressed her faith in us. She is now with our Creator. Some day we will all join her. She will be there to greet us. Until then, may her life serve as an example of how we are to live. Your mother’s life embodied the Prayer of St Francis. With sympathy, The Parells The Prayer of St Francis Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace; Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is discord, harmony; Where there is error, truth; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek To be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

My deepest Christian sympathy on the loss of your mom. She was much fun to talk with. Her legacy of faith will be a blessing to you and much comfort in the days to follow. Praying for peace and comfort for your entire family. 2 Corinthians 4: 18 - So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal! God's blessings...
