June, Steve and Laura: American Can was the vehicle that brought Les into my circle and I can honestly say that every minute in his presence was a delight. He leaves behind a legion of fans from his Canco days and I am proud to say I am just one of many. I would have been there today, but I am out of state but will be thinking of Les and his friendship always.

Les committed himself 100% to whatever project he undertook. This would be in business selling cans and tubes for Canco, in his love of theater (he was really a ham), his church to love God, and most important his family life. He leaves this world a better place to live. May Les rest in peace.

It is always sad to see the passing of a good friend. It is even sadder to know that family are hurting so much and knowing that regardless of what one says or feels, they cannot help ease the hurt. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Les will be missed.

During the period of 1966-1971, Les and I were coworkers at American Can Co.'s Dallas TX sales office. Les and I became instant friends from the 1st day he arrived. Les, June & children bought a house about 2 blocks from where we lived and our families became close. My wife, Shirley & I are very saddened in learning of Les' passing and send our best wishes to June & children. Sincerely, Shirley & Michael Hogan
