Joseph Ognibene, age 90, of Mansfield Township, NJ died Saturday, June 16,  2012 at Warren Haven Nursing Home. Joseph was born April 10, 1922 in Newark, NJ. He is the son of the late Mario and Angelina (Vicino) Ognibene. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa (Ray) Ognibene in 2000.

He was employed by Metal Alloys, Newark, NJ as an Accountant in the Bookkeeping Department, previously he was employed at Boker Manufacturing in Newark, NJ.
Joseph was of the Catholic faith. He was raised in Irvington and Newark, NJ. Joseph was involved in the P.A.L. in Irvington, NJ

He is survived by a Daughter, Angel and her husband John Lavin, Hackettstown, NJ; 1 Sister, Rose Veglia, Barnegat, NJ; 2 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:00 am on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at St. Mary's Church Of The Assumption, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ on Wednesday, June 20 following the Mass.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J.
