Born in Beaumont, PA, she was the daughter of the late William George and Elizabeth Mae Goodwin Downs.

   Ms. Downs was a bookkeeper for the Bank of Tokyo and a member of Hampton Park Baptist Church.

   Surviving are brothers, William Charles Downs and wife, Pamela of Midvale, UT and Richard Downs and wife, Hilde of Oxford, NJ; and niece and nephews, Mike Downs, Ralph Downs, Jennifer Downs and Jason Downs.

   A visitation will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m.at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pequest Union Cemetery, Warren County, NJ with Pastor Ray Anderson officiating under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ  07840.
