Adelaide Grace Zander, age 86, died March 20, 2014, she was born in Elizabeth, NJ on November 16, 1927. Adelaide was raised in and lived in Linden, NJ most of her life. She worked for Gorden Gin until retirement. Then moving to Point Pleasant, NJ where she spent many happy years enjoying and loving the shore.
She had an absolute joy for life and lived it fully making many friends along the way. Adelaide was predeceased by her parents Frieda and John Zander. She was also predeceased by her 2 loving sisters; Elsie Boyd and Ruth Novak, brother; John Zander and her nephew; Karl who she loved dearly.
She is survived by a devoted brother; Edward Zander and held dear by her loving nephew; Sam Boyd and 2 nieces; Lucy Fenn, Lorraine Ohngemach, as well as their children; Doreen, Sandy, Cheryl, Bob, Sam Jr., Christine, Jennifer and a host of relatives and dear friends.
Cremation was private. No services to be announced. Arrangements under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
