April 10, 1942 – January 30, 2015 - Ronald K. Schuster age 72, of Blairstown, NJ formerly of Belvidere, NJ died Friday, January 30,2015 at Barn Hill Care Center of Newton, NJ. Ron was born April 10,1942 in Easton, PA. He graduated from Belvidere High School in 1960. He attended the Art School of NY. Ron Joined the US Navy in 1965 and served in Vietnam from 1966 – 1967. He received an Honorable discharge in 1969. Ron was employed by M&M Mars, in Hackettstown as an officer worker for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, where he was a Past Patron and a Past Grand Representative of Wyoming. He was a member of Warren Lodge #13 for 45 years, until the Grand Lodge of New Jersey took away their charter and forced members to join other lodges in Pennsylvania. Ron then joined Whitfield Lodge # 622 in Tatamy, PA. Ron was also a member of the Belvidere Legion #131 and the Good Will Fire Company in Belvidere. He was an avid bowler, Nascar fan, artist and loved to travel. He is survived by a brother, John Schuster, of Belvidere NJ, two sisters, Alice Good of Richmond, PA and Joan Davis of Hope, NJ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his friend Harry G. Waldron, Sr. of Blairstown. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Cochran Funeral Home Inc, 905 High Street Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Services are private at family’s request. For those desiring donations may be made to the Order of the Eastern Star Building Fund, 355 Tatamy Road, Tatamy, PA 18064 or to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, 6725 Lyons Street PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057

To Ronnie's family and loved ones. So sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. It is a great loss to those of us who knew him. I was on the Gymnastic Team with him at BHS. He was great! I always enjoyed watching him. His sense of humor and sweetness will be a big loss to the world.

Just the other day, I was telling someone how Ron would meet me in the smoking room at Mars back in the day, and "fix me." He would fuss and joke around as he straightened my clothes and checked to ensure I wasn't wearing two different shoes. Loved that wicked sense of humor and what a great friend he was. He will be missed and I'll carry him in my heart always. Harry and Ron's Family: You are in my prayers. Sending hugs your way.

So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I will miss my bowling partner. He was fun to bowl with . We will all miss him on our league. Condolences to his family and Harry.

I'm so glad we got to have lunch together at the Mars Christmas lunch..and I'm so sorry we didn't get to go for Pizza and a beer - who knew the last time I saw you would be the last time! RIP my friend. My sincere sympathy to the Schuster family Love you Ron

My heartfelt sympathy to Ron's family and Harry. To know Ron was to love him. He was one of the first people to warmly welcome me into the Mars fold 27 years ago. His kindness will always be remembered, especially that first encounter. It meant a lot to me. I loved working with him. He always kept us laughing. I am so thankful that I got to have a wonderful conversation with him at Mars Holiday Luncheon in December. My God, I never would have thought that would have been our last. I am heartbroken. He will truly be missed. There is definitely a place for his beautiful soul in heaven.

Ron was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He always knew how to brighten a day. I loved listening about all the jobs he had when he was younger. He led an interesting and fun life. He was also good to my family when they needed rides into New York. We will miss you. Love, Cindy

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Ron. I enjoyed knowing him through our Mars connection. Ron was a good and kind man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. To the Schuster Family, My deepest sympathy on the lost of your brother. Ron was a good friend, and it was a pleasure knowing him. I will miss seeing him at our monthly luncheons. He had such an interesting life, and the group loved hearing about his ventures. He added so much to those get together. He will forever be in my heart.

I haven't known Ron for a long time but got to know him through our mutual friend Gregg Monsees. We will miss him greatly as he was always such a pleasant guy to be around. My sincere condolences to his brother and sisters and friend Harry.
