Gib was a proud member of the Cataract Hose Co 1 for 52 years. A volunteer that was brave in his duty, stood strongly by his convictions, while selflessly protecting the lives and property of his neighbors. It was an honor serving with him, he'll be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Robin & I are very saddened to hear of Gibby's passing. Though school has taken me away from Hackettstown, it is still my home, and one of the pleasures I had in my time in the Fire Department was sitting and talking to Gibby, and did we talk. I am sorry I can not make it back for the funeral, and pray God's comfort on you all. May God Bless you all. Paul
