Michael O'Mara

Michael O'Mara, 55 of the Panther Valley section of Allamuchy, N.J., died at home on Friday, 10-11-13 after a brief illness.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on August 10, 1958, he was the son of the late Thomas & Ann Caparelli O'Mara.
Michael has lived in the greater Hackettstown area for the past 21 years coming from Wharton, N.J. and was raised in Lake Parsippany, N.J..
For the past 15 years Michael has been the Managing Partner at Lee Myles Transmissions and Auto Care of Rockaway, N.J..
He is survived by his wife, Martha Schoer O'Mara, one son - Thomas M. O'Mara and two daughters - Melissa Ann O'Mara and Jamie Lynn O'Mara.. Last but not least, Mike leaves behind his four legged family members, his dog Prancer and his cat, Toby.
A memorial visitation and service will take place on Wednesday, 10-16-13 from 4 - 8pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, N.J.07840 with services beginning at 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the O'Mara Children's Education Fund payable to the Cochran Funeral Home. Online condolences may be given at www.cochranfuneral.com.
