Marjorie  "Margie" J. Nykun , age 88, of Plant City, FL, formerly of Great Meadows, NJ, where she and her husband lived for 65 years died March 11, 2012 at South Florida Baptist Hospital of Plant City, FL. Marjorie was born March 9, 1924 in Jersey City, NJ where she received her certification in Business.  She was the daughter of the late Walter and Josephine (Stankiewicz) Murphy. She was the wife of Andrew Nykun, Jr. having celebrated 66 years of marriage February 23.

She was employed by and enjoyed her work at M & M Mars, Hackettstown, NJ as a Customer Service Representative.  Prior to her employment there, she enjoyed working on the family farm with her husband Andy. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Great Meadows, NJ,  Independence Seniors, STS. Peter & Paul Seniors, Great Meadows, NJ, and the Over 55 Club, Hope, NJ. Marjorie loved going to Atlantic City, NJ, traveling and most importantly, family. Those who knew Margie well would agree that she was a classy lady who never had a hair out of place!

She is survived by her Husband, Andrew Nykun, Jr., Plant City, FL;  1 Daughter, Debra Nykun, Plant City, FL; 1 Daughter-in-law Elizabeth Nykun, Mendham, NJ. She also has 4 Grandchildren: Jeffrey Nykun, NY; Jodi Nykun-Recksiek, VA; Amanda Nykun, VA; Abby Nykun, NJ; 1 Great-Grandson, Harrison Kurt Recksiek; 1 Sister-in-law Helen Zwarych;  Predeceased by 1 Son, Richard Nykun and 1 Brother, Walter Murphy.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 23, 2012, 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. 

Interment will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows, NJ.
