Born July 8, 1974 in Saddlebrook, NJ to Anthony G. and Susan L. (Baker) Fowler. Anthony graduated class of 1993 from Lenape Valley Regional High School, Stanhope, NJ. Anthony proudly served in the US Navy Nuclear Submarines, on the USS Springfield, (SSN 761) Groton, Connecticut from 1994 – 1996, receiving honors and medals including his dolphins. Anthony was a member of the American Legion, Post #278, Stanhope, NJ. Anthony attended Chubb Institute in 2001 and received a Diploma in Computer Technical Support, which he pursued most of his career before moving on to new adventures with Barnes Brothers Marine, Mt Arlington, NJ. Anthony enjoyed boating and fishing on Lake Hopatcong and was an avid sports fan whose favorite teams were the Denver Broncos and the New York Yankees.
Anthony had an amazing heart and infectious smile, with a great love of life and always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Anthony generously donated his organs through the NJ Sharing Network and his recipients will receive another chance at life.
Anthony is survived by his parents, Anthony and Susan Fowler of Great Meadows, his loving children, Zachary and Kaylee Fowler and their mother Kristin of Stanhope, his beloved sister Laurie Fowler and her companion Scott Tarnoski of Branchville. Also surviving is Anthony’s longtime girlfriend, Kim Weigman and her three daughters of Hopatcong, as well as many loving uncles, aunts and cousins.
Anthony was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Audrey Becker and Charles Edwin Baker, his paternal grandparents Alan and Muriel Fowler.
The funeral visitation will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. Cremation was private.
