She was the daughter of the late Stanley Burton and Dorothy Jones Covert.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bruce Garrett Molloy, her brother, Stanley Burton Covert, Jr., and her cousins James Dunning Covert II, and Suzanne Clauser.

Nancy grew up in Larchmont, NY, swam and sailed in the Long Island Sound, and graduated from college at Southern Seminary in Virginia. Summers were spent at the family’s house in Weld, Maine where she found her lifelong love of nature which included gardening, fishing, bird watching and just being a part of the great outdoors.

Both restaurants were very successful and were known for their bistro style entrees, and freshly baked popovers. She also worked with the Candy Stripers, a hospital volunteer group in Illinois, and the New Jersey Blood Bank, in Parsippany, NJ.

Nancy loved being with her family, and she greatly cherished holidays and special occasions. The compassionate and loving caregivers at Heath Village and the Church of the Messiah also became like family to her, and many commented on her sweet and kind disposition, and her enduring grace.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Susan Simpson Molloy, Cathy Ann Molloy, 1 son, Bruce Garrett Molloy and wife Corinne, 3 grandchildren Peter Garrett Coombs and wife Hediyeh, Sarah Elizabeth Coombs, Mariana Christiane Molloy, and 2 great grandchildren, Mina and Garrett Coombs.
