Frederick, Jr. Henry Needhammer

 Frederick Henry Needhammer, Jr., age 84, of Hackettstown, NJ died Monday, February 17, 2014 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center.  Frederick was born November 24, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. He is the son of the late Frederick Henry, Sr. and the late Florence (Heiser) Needhammer.  He was married to Anita (Barbieri) Needhammer. 

 He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1952 to1954.  He was employed by Anchor Bank, Wayne, NJ as a Computer Programmer.  Frederick was a member of the Silentia
Lodge  F & AM of Butler,  NJ and also a member of MENSA.

He is survived by his wife: Anita (Barbieri) Needhammer , 2 daughters; Laura Needhammer, Carol Naylor and husband James, 2 sons; Andrew Needhammer, Tom Needhammer and wife Debby, grandchildren: Rebecca, Julia, Lily, Mark, Ruby and Chloe.

The funeral service will be held 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 19 at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.  Cremation is Private.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 19 from 4:00 - 8:00PM at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital, 3551 N. Broad Street
