Josephine Mutter, age 97, of Hackettstown formerly of Teaneck, NJ died Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Forest Manor Health Care Center, Hope, NJ. Josephine was born February 12, 1919 in Teaneck, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Messina) Zitelli. Josephine is preceded in death by her husband Alfred Mutter.
She was previously employed by Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ as a Registered Nurse in their Labor and Delivery unit for 15 years before retiring. Josephine was a member of the Holy Name Hospital Auxiliary where she worked prior to Hackettstown, she was a loving and devoted mother to her 3 cherished children.
She is survived by her daughter Marie Cappuccio, 2 sons, Alfred Mutter Jr., Joseph Mutter and his fie Anne, 2 sisters, Claire Graziano, Helen Piper, 2 grandchildren, Frank, III and Roseanna.
