Ruth Eva Dennis, age 86, of Hackettstown died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at St. Luke’s - Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ. Ruth was born August 16, 1930 in Hackettstown, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Harry and Clara (Syfor) Burdge, Sr.
Ruth was previously employed by House of Good Shepherd in Hackettstown, NJ as a cook. She was a lifelong resident of Hackettstown. Ruth's favorite pastime was watching the Price is Right, she was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and of WWF Wrestling.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Linda Dennis and Penny Dennis, both of Hackettstown, NJ, aunt: Helen Burdge and niece: Kathy Burdge
Predeceased by her husband, Samuel Dennis, 2 brothers: Leroy Burdge and Harry Burdge Jr. and nephew: Robert Burdge.
