Mary Burd
Died: May 17, 2019
She is survived by her sons, Robert H Burd and Roger C Burd and sisters Irene List and Madeline Holley.
She is preceded in death by her husband Howard T Burd ,her son Michael J Szidloski, her brothers Michael, George and Samuel Frederick and two sisters Elley and Loraine. Mary had many grandchildren, great, grandchildren and great, great grandchildren that she loved dearly.
Mary was an avid gardner and enjoyed traveling with friends and relatives in her younger years. Mary found great comfort and strength studying the Bible.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 5 to 9 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
A funeral service will take place Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 11:00 am at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840,
Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.

Mary attended Calvary Assembly of God in Hastings Square. She believed in and loved the Lord. We believe she is asleep in Christ, and upon His return she will live in heaven for eternity. Bob and Roger your mother loved you both dearly. Your loss is heavens gain.

DEAR BOB, ROGER, AND FAMILY,
Please accept my most sincere condolences and deepest sympathies on the loss of your mother. I remember back in 1963 when my wife and my children moved to Lafayette Street, your mother visited us and was so very kind and made us feel welcome (we were very young at the time) and my wife and I never forgot her genuine kindness to us. I know from my own experience that there are not any words that will bring comfort at this very sad time.
