Katherine Ball, age 83, of Greendell, NJ died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center of Hackettstown, N.J. Katherine was born July 20, 1930 in Paterson, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Kuistra) Chipalone. She married her loving husband Edward Ball, Sr. on August 10, 1963 and celebrated 50 yrs. of marriage on August 10, 2013. She was employed as a Coordinating Supervisor for Hayband Clothing Corp. for many years specializing in establishing new stores throughout the United States. After her retirement, Katherine worked with her husband, Edward at their family owned business, Blairstown Drycleaners. She is survived by her husband: Edward Ball, Sr.; one son, Edward Ball, Jr. and wife Julie of Long Valley, N.J.; One beloved granddaughter; Ragen Elizabeth Ball and one sister; Nanette Chianchiano of North Carolina. The funeral will be held 10:00 am Monday, March 31 at Tranquility Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1 Academy Lane, Tranquility, NJ with Pastor Mark Jagitsch officiating. Interment will be in the Tranquility Cemetery, Tranquility, New Jersey. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Tranquility Seventh-Day Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regan Elizabeth Ball Education fund, Care of her parents Ed and Julie Ball.
