Joseph Ligenza, age 94, of Hackettstown, NJ died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at home. Joseph was born June 18, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Joseph and May (Jabenbielski) Ligenza. In addition to his parents Joseph is preceded in death by a great granddaughter.
Joe was previously employed by Bell Labs, Murray Hill as a Chemist retiring many years ago. He was an extremely talented painter of Landscapes, using all types of painting methods.
He is survived by his wife: Jill Devlin Ligenza , three daughters, Katherine Ligenza, Virginia "Ginger" Mochen and Irene Devlin Weiss, 2 sons, Theodore "Ted" Liqenza, Daniel Devlin,
8 Grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
All services are private and under the direction of the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ.
