Phyllis Sheridan Potts

A former resident of Madison, New Jersey, she was born at home on Blossom Hill Farm, in Lebanon, New Jersey, on November 25, 1926, the daughter of Martin and Frieda (Schmidt) Sheridan.
Mrs. Potts attended the Daycroft School, Stamford, CT, graduated from the Kent Place School, Summit, New Jersey and attended Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts.
She is survived by her son, Vincent S. Potts and wife, Carol, of Long Valley, NJ, her daughter, Debora P. Torbert and husband, Stuart, of Amherst, NH, a grandson Vincent S. Potts II, of NY, her sisters, Joy Woods, FL, and Adrienne Denno, CA, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Potts is predeceased by her sisters, Patricia Copeland and Janus Sheridan, and her former husband, Vincent Wells Potts.
A generous and compassionate woman, she will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
