Met Harry as a member of the PCFA. In an era of much animosity and difficult times Harry and I often saw things differently. One of his outstanding features was the ability to allow those who disagreed with his perspective to have their full say, to evaluate the information and act in accordance with his conscience. After the vote was over, Harry was the type of person that you could still be friends with even if you disagreed with his position. A true gentleman and statesman. His wisdom has been, and will be, missed. We were all better for knowing him.

I am very sorry to see Mr. Pool has passed away. He and I had a great relationship from both my 1st term on Hackettstown Council in the 1990's and my time at Williams & Hibler. Mr. Pool had an absolute love for Mansfield Twp. and Warren County and it was my pleasure to have known him. To the Family I pray God's comfort on you all during this period of mourning.

Knew Harry at Hackettstown High and with the Port of New York and New Jersey. He always gave his best in his 30 some years with the Port Authority. May he now rest in peace.
