 Marilyn L. Elias, age 90, of Hackettstown, NJ formerly of Clearwater, FL died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, NJ.  Marilyn lived a long, full and happy life.  She was born December 12, 1923 in Cleveland, OH to the late Edward H. and Mary M. (Lanius) Lange.  She was preceded in death by her husband; Andrew B. Elias in 1996, and her two brothers; Clark and Robert Lange. 

She was previously employed by North Ridgeville Dept. of Education, North Ridgeville, OH as their Food Service Director.  Marilyn was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hackettstown, NJ and Martha’s Circle.  She enjoyed sewing, making her famous scrubbies and gardening.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Beth Lappin and husband Harold, Cheryl Huene and husband Charles; 2 granddaughters; Cynthia Nort and husband Michael, Hannah Lappin; 2 great grandchildren; Emma and Abigail Nort.

Visitation hours will be Tuesday, October 21 from 10 am - 12 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main Street, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.

The funeral will be held 12:00 pm immediately following visitation at Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Dr. Rev. Frank Fowler officiating.  Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 213 Main Street
