Dennis George Towers

Died: Sep 13, 2016

 Dennis George Towers age 74 of Hackettstown, NJ died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.  He was the son of the late Ernest and Maryann (Connors) Towers.  In addition to his parents Dennis is preceded in death by a sister in law; Florence Towers.

Dennis was a dedicated member of the United States Army earning the rank of Chief Warrant Officer.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Hackettstown, NJ, was an avid reader , loved to travel, garden and belonged to the 50th Armor Division Discom Allumi Association.

Survived by his loving wife; Barbara (nee-Obal) Towers, his devoted daughter; Denise Lynn Towers, 2 brothers; Thomas Towers, Robert Towers and his wife Arlene, 1 sister; Marrianne Perkins and her husband Richard and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ on Sunday, September 18th from 4-8 pm.

A Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, High Street,  Hackettstown, NJ on Monday, September 19th at 10:30 am with Father David Pekola officiating.

Entombment will follow the mass at Union Cemetery, Hackettstown, NJ.
