Alan VanOrden, age 34, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Wayne, NJ. Mr. VanOrden was born August 11, 1983 in Warwick, NY. He is the son of Kristin Rapp and the late Raymond VanOrden, Jr.
Alan was previously employed as a Carpet/Tile Installer. He was a very hardworking, talented and skilled craftsman. He was an avid music lover and cherished spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by; his mother Kristen Rapp, 4 brothers, Raymond VanOrden III and wife MaryAnn VanOrden, Ryan and wife Cathy VanOrden, Zachary and wife Tammi VanOrden, Andrew and wife Joni Van Orden, his sister, Anne Alvarado and husband Romero, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, February 3 at First Presbyterian Church, 298 Main Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Birda Ferguson officiating. Cremation was private.
