Joseph R. Ort, Sr. age 85, of Broadway, NJ died Monday, March 19, 2018 at Forest Manor Health Care Center in Hope, NJ. Joseph was born September 9, 1932 in Mendham, NJ. He is the son of the late Stewart and the late Naomi (Apgar) Ort.
He is survived by one son, Joseph R. Ort, Jr. and his wife Darlene, one sister, Francine, and two grandchildren, Molly and Matthew Ort. He was pre-deceased by his son David Ort.
The funeral will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840. Friends and family members are invited to speak at the funeral service. Burial will take place right after the funeral service at Union Cemetery, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840.
