Miss Ann Ridgely Hardy (aged 87), of Panther Valley, died peacefully after a short illness at the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice on Wednesday February 15th, 2017.
Ann was born to John Alexander Hardy and Barbara Wyndham Harrison on September 10th 1929. She lived much of her life in New York and Connecticut, but spent many happy years of retirement in New Jersey.
She was a much loved daughter; sister; aunt; friend and cat lover and will be greatly missed, but remembered by all for her great kindness, generosity and warm hospitality.
Ann has requested a private cremation and interment of her ashes at the family burial plot in Dover, Delaware. Instead of flowers, if you would like to make a donation in Ann’s memory, please give in support of the Morris Animal Foundation or the Feline Health Center, College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University.
