Josephine Smillie, 85, of Hackettstown, NJ, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Josephine was the daughter of the late John & Margaret (McGurk) Kirk.
Prior to living in Hackettstown, Josephine also lived in Budd Lake, NJ for twenty years and Kearny, NJ for forty years.
Mrs. Smillie is survived by three daughters; Margaret (Bob) DeFuria, Frances (Pascal) Berini and Jo-Anne (Tony) Chudley. In addition, she is survived by six grandchildren; Robert (Alison), Nicole, Alyson, Anthony, Justin and Nicholas. Also, three loving great grandchildren; Aedan, Emily & Aine.
She was predeceased by her husband Andrew Smillie and her son, Robert Smillie.
Visitation will take place on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840 from 11:30am until 12:45pm.
A mass of Christian burial will follow at 1:00pm at St. Mary's Church of the Assumption, 305 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. After the mass, cremation will take place privately.
