Norman G. Perrine 72, of Allamuchy Twp. New Jersey passed away at Hackettstown Medical Center on December 9th 2019. Norman battled cancer for over 30 years but past due to a stroke 2 weeks earlier.
Born on November 21, 1946 in Johnsonburg New Jersey he was the son of the late Ernie and Hazel Perrine.
Norman was born a farmer and worked with cows and land his whole life. He always had a soft spot in his heart for animals and many times would bring home a kitten that was cold or sick and nurse back to health.
Norman was employed by Plainview Growers and lived a 1/2 a mile from where he worked as a mechanic and outside caretaker of the horses and Longhorn Cattle which was his favorite part of the job.
Norman is survived by his dedicated wife of 46 years Betty Conover Perrine and son Norman Jr. also of Allamuchy, brother Dorman (Donna), sisters Carol (Rick) Vernon, Dawn (Richard) Kearn, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Contributions can be made to the family care of Cochran Funeral Home.

Norm was one who I truly enjoyed saying good morning to everyday. He brought wisdom and laughter to work. He was a good friend with a kind soul. I’m so very sorry for you’re loss.God bless . Rest In Peace Norm.
