Walter F. Weiss, Jr., age 68, of Independence Twp., Hackettstown, NJ died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at his home. Walter was born July 13, 1943 in Passaic, NJ . He is the son of the late Walter and Julia (Wudmaski) Weiss.

He was self-employed as the owner/operator of Gen-Con Industrial Contracting.
Walter was a parishioner of Our Lady Of The Mountain R.C. Church, Long Valley, NJ. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife: Ellen (Wagner) Weiss at home; 1 Son- Walter Weiss, III, Great Meadows, NJ; 1 Daughter-Julianne and her husband Michael Eddinger, Raleigh, NC; 1 Brother-Ronald Weiss; 2 Sisters-Marie and Gail; 2 Grandchildren-Zachery and Cole.

Predeceased by his Brother, Late Richard Weiss.

A memorial mass will be held 10:30 am on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Our Lady Of The Mountain Church, 2 E. Springtown Rd, Long Valley, NJ. Interment is private.
