Danuta “Donna” Tynan, age 72, a lifelong resident of Hackettstown, NJ died Saturday, February 7, 2015 at House of the Good Shepherd of Hackettstown. Mrs. Tynan was born May 21, 1942 to the late Adolf and Leokadia (Piwowarczyk) Rusc. She was employed by Marshall's, Hackettstown, NJ as a Customer Service Coordinator for many years before retiring. Donna enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and hosting family picnics. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband: Norman Tynan, Jr.,1 daughter; Sandra Tynan, 2 sons; Norman Tynan, III and wife Carla, Darren Tynan; 1 brother; Edward Rusc and wife Teresa; 3 grandchildren; Collin, Caden, Ariella and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be held 10:30 am on Thursday, February 12 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father David Pekola officiating. Burial will be in Hackettstown Union Cemetery, Hackettstown following services at the funeral home. Visitation hours will be Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 4-8 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, Inc., 905 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ. For those desiring, donations may be made to House of the Good Shepherd, 798 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840 in memory of Donna.

I just learned of Donna's passing being I just lost my mom March 26,2015 of brain cancer . Donna was a sweetheart and I worked with Donna at Jamesway which was my first job in the 80's. Donna loved life and loved her family especially her children and was so happy to be a grandmother. Rest In Peace Donna and I am so sorry I miss saying Good bye to you but I to was dealing with my mom being very ill with brain cancer. Fly high with the Angels Donna

Norm and family, please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Diana (which is what we always called her since first meeting her). She was a wonderful person, thoughtful and helpful. She took our daughter under her wing while working at Jamesway and we never forgot it. She will surely be missed. May God bless & keep her always.

We were saddened to hear of Donna's passing. I will always remember her pretty smile and her gentle manner. She was always pleasant and helpful at Marshall's and loved to chat. Most fondly she enjoyed telling me about her children and her grandchildren. You were her pride and joy.Our deepest sympathy to the Tynan family.

I knew Donna many years ago..in the salon and Marshalls.. she was always a pleasure to be with. very thoughtful and helpful..in so many ways.. my heart goes out to the family.. w/love and prayers for Donna and you all> GOD bless!
