Gloria Franzese, 88, of Washington Township (Morris Co.), NJ died on December 15, 2013 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. Born on August 27, 1925 in New York City, NY to the late Tony and Antoinette (Marmo) Cavallo. She was predeceased by her husband, Florio.
Gloria lived in Washington Twp, NJ for 3 years coming from Florida. She was employed as a Cashier for the Seven-Eleven Food Store in Budd Lake, NJ. and previously worked at Carters Children's Store. During WW II she worked at a defense factory. Gloria enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an animal lover; she was a member of the Italian American Club in Sebastian, Florida.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara and her husband Bob Dutch; a brother, Peter and his wife Barbara Cavallo; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; she was predeceased by a son Ralph.
A Memorial Mass will be held on December 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church Of The Assumption, 305 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
