 Charles Naomi, age 92, of  Andover, NJ formerly of Ocean and Washington Twp., NJ died Friday, March 7, 2014 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center of Hackettstown, NJ.  Mr. Naomi was born September 17, 1921 in Goatsville, KY. He is the son of the late Joseph F. and the late Anna (Deeb) Naomi. Charles was also predeceased by his beloved wife Josephine who died in 1975.

Charles was a Master Plumber and owner/operator of Charles Naomi Plumbing and Heating. He was a past member and Chief of the Schooley's Mountain Fire Protection Association and served in the US Navy during World War II on the USS Omaha as a Tail Gunner from 1942 to1945.

He is survived by 1 son, Chuck Naomi and wife Judy; 1 brother, Sam Naomi; 3 grandsons and 6 great grandsons. 

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2013 at 7:30 pm at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. with Father Abuchi Nwosu officiating.  Burial will be in Our Lady of the Mountain Cemetery, Long Valley, NJ at a later date.

Visitation will be will be on Tuesday, March 11, 2013 at the funeral home from 4-8 pm.

Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ  07834-1365 in memory of Charles.

UNCLE CHARLIE WAS A VERY SPECIAL UNCLE, HE ALWAYS HAD TIME AND ROOM FOR HIS NEPHEW'S & NIECES . HE WAS MORE THAN AN UNCLE TO THEM. HE WAS ALWAYS FUN LOVING AND LAUGHABLE, HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED !!
