Lloyd D. Fleming, Sr., age 83, of Heath Village, Washington Township, (Morris Co.) NJ died Monday, October 1, 2012 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ. Lloyd was born July 17, 1929 in Chester, NJ. He is the son of the late Chamers and Isabelle (O’Shaughnessy) Fleming. He was predeceased by his wife, late Mary E. Potts in 2003.
Lloyd and his family lived in Long Valley, NJ for many years coming from Chester, NJ

He was employed by Custom Alloy, Califon, NJ as a Tool & Dye Maker.
Lloyd was a member of the Long Valley Knights of Columbus Council # 10419; member of the Moose Lodge # 816, Hackettstown, NJ and a member of the Civil War Re-enactment New Jersey 15th., and a member of the Schooley's Mountain Fire Protective Association.

He is survived by 3 sons, Lloyd, Jr.; John T. and David M. Fleming; 4 daughters, Mary Loretta Ditmars, Dorothy Cox, Diane Horner and Ruth Ann Welsh; 1 brother, Donald Fleming; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Randy George Fleming in 1961 and predeceased by a daughter, Dawn Fleming in 2011.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Friday, October 5, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street, Hackettstown, N.J. 07840. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Old Turnpike Road, Rt. 517, Califon, NJ 07830
