Our deepest sympathies to the entire family. Herb was a special person, always willing to help others. He was so inspiring to complete a difficult task when times were difficult while working on all those poorly maintained cars. Herb's services to our country must never be overlooked, Thank you. Dear Phyllis, Kim and family. Our deepest condolences on Herb's passing. We always enjoyed talking with him when he spent his winters in Florida. The maintenance man at Island Point (Mike) told us that Herb told him how to fix some things at the condos. He will be missed by so many. Know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. With Love, Bob & Jo Ann

Our heartfelt condolences To Phyllis, Kim, Tom and the girls. He was a wonderful husband, a dedicated father and father-in-law and a grandfather who exemplified the importance of family. Always willing to lend a helping hand and genuinely caring about people, he exhibited the tenets of his Christian faith. As a friend, he always had a story to tell. And boy, he could fix anything and everything. We were beneficiaries of this largeness on many occasions. Even the maintenance man at our condo in Florida wanted to know when Herb was coming back as he needed his troubleshooting skills. We thank Herb for his service to his country and have felt blessed that such an honest and dedicated man called us friends! There is a wonderful song by Joey Feek entitled "Did I do all that I could in the time that you gave me." I believe Herb did and then some! May God grant his blessings on Herb as he begins his new journey. With Love......
